- To communicate with you about your report and any follow-up questions
- To maintain required financial records (HMRC compliance — retained for 6 years)

Your intake form responses are used as inputs to generate your personalised report. This process uses AI-assisted analysis tools. Your data is processed in accordance with Anthropic's data processing terms. No third party receives your personal information as part of this process — data is used solely to generate your individual report. Every report is reviewed by a human consultant before delivery; no report is sent to you without that review, and no decision about your property is made solely by automated means.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for their own purposes. Data is shared only with the following service providers acting on our behalf:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing
- Tally.so — intake form collection

Each provider operates under their own data processing agreements and privacy policies.

2. The Service
We provide a personalised Retrofit Masterplan Report — a written advisory report (typically 20–25 pages, longer for landlord clients) covering home retrofit and energy efficiency for a specific UK property. One report structure serves three types of client — homeowners, prospective buyers, and private landlords — with certain sections tailored to your specific situation. The report includes:
- Property summary and EPC assessment
- Top retrofit recommendations tailored to your property
- A section explaining what the findings mean for your specific situation as a homeowner, buyer, or landlord
- UK grant eligibility assessment (including schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, Warm Homes Local Grant, and others as applicable at the time of preparation)
- An overview of other financing routes that may be available, such as green finance products
- Financial analysis and estimated payback periods
- Solar potential assessment
- A section on the likely cost of delaying action
- A phased action plan
- For landlord clients only: a dedicated compliance section addressing Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), including the cheapest route to the proposed EPC C standard and exemption considerations
- Suggested next steps
The report is delivered as a PDF via email within 5 working days of receipt of your completed intake form.
3. Who This Service Is For
This service is available to homeowners, prospective buyers considering a purchase, and private landlords. The report is prepared entirely from information you provide and publicly available data (including the property's existing Energy Performance Certificate and other public records) — we do not visit or physically access the property.
If you are a prospective buyer, no permission from the current property owner is required to commission a report, since preparation does not involve accessing or entering the property.
If you are a tenant, we are not able to provide this service without your landlord's consent.
4. Price and Payment
The fee for one Retrofit Masterplan Report is £299 (inclusive of VAT, if applicable). Payment is taken in full at the time of order via Stripe. No work commences until payment is confirmed and a completed intake form is received.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
As a consumer, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because this service is typically delivered within 5 working days, we offer an optional "immediate start" waiver at the point of booking:
- If you do not opt for immediate start: you retain your full 14-day statutory right to cancel for any reason, for a full refund. We will not begin work until either you confirm you wish to proceed sooner, or the 14-day window has passed.
- If you opt for immediate start: you ask us to begin preparing your report straight away, and in doing so you waive your 14-day right to cancel once the completed report has been delivered to you. Before delivery, your right to a refund is unaffected — see below.
Regardless of which option you choose:
- Before work has begun: a full refund is available at any time on request.
- After work has begun but before delivery: a pro-rata partial refund is available, reflecting the proportion of work completed.
- After the completed report has been delivered: no refund is available, as the service has been fully performed — except where the report contains a material error attributable to our fault, in which case we will correct it or offer an appropriate remedy.
- To request a cancellation or refund, email info@worthyhomeadvisory.co.uk with your name and order reference.
6. Nature of the Report — Important Limitations
Our reports are advisory only. Please read the following carefully:
- The report is based on information you provide in the intake form together with publicly available data (including the property's existing EPC). We do not carry out a physical survey or site visit.
- All cost estimates, savings projections, payback periods, and property value figures are indicative projections, not guarantees. Actual costs and savings depend on contractor quotes, energy prices, occupancy patterns, market conditions, and other factors outside our control, and may differ materially from the figures shown.
- Grant eligibility assessments reflect scheme rules active at the time of report preparation, described using language such as "may qualify" or "could be eligible." Grant availability, criteria, and funding levels change frequently. An eligibility assessment by us is not a guarantee that you will receive any grant — final eligibility is always determined by the relevant scheme provider.
- For landlord clients: any content addressing Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) or similar compliance obligations reflects our understanding of confirmed government policy at the time of preparation. Where the underlying legislation is not yet in force, we say so explicitly in the report. This content is independent guidance only, is not legal advice, and must not be relied upon as a final statement of your legal obligations — always confirm the current legal position at gov.uk or with a solicitor before making compliance decisions.
- The report does not constitute structural, electrical, or gas safety advice. All physical works must be carried out by suitably qualified and registered contractors.
- We are not financial advisers, and nothing in the report constitutes financial, tax, mortgage, or investment advice — including any content on financing routes, which is general information only.
- The report does not constitute a property valuation or a survey, and does not comment on structural condition. We recommend a RICS-registered surveyor for condition, and independent financial advice for any borrowing decisions.
- EPC band estimates and projections are indicative only. A formal EPC can only be issued by an accredited assessor following a physical inspection.
7. Your Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete information in the intake form. Inaccurate information may result in an inaccurate report for which we cannot be held responsible.
- You are responsible for verifying all recommendations with qualified contractors before proceeding with any works.
- You are responsible for checking current grant eligibility directly with the relevant scheme administrator before making any financial commitments.
8. Intellectual Property
The Retrofit Masterplan Report is prepared for your personal use only. You may share it with contractors, installers, or family members for the purpose of implementing the recommendations. You may not reproduce, resell, or publish the report (or any part of it) for commercial purposes without our written consent.
9. Liability
- Our liability to you is limited to the fee paid for the report (£299).
- We are not liable for any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of the report, including financial loss, costs of works, unsuccessful grant applications, or any penalty, fine, or enforcement action arising from reliance on compliance-related content (including MEES content in landlord reports) without independently verifying the current legal position.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- We hold professional indemnity insurance providing cover for claims arising from our advisory services.
10. Data Protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. Please read our or for details.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with your report or our service, please contact us at info@worthyhomeadvisory.co.uk in the first instance. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days and to resolve them fairly and promptly.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to your purchase.
